Rex Laurent Rebrand

For my senior thesis at Moravian University, I designed a new brand for LA-based musical artist Rex Laurent, formerly known as OSKAR O. I wanted to work on a music branding project for my thesis, and since I was already a big fan of hers, I figured I’d reach out to work with her. Coincidentally, she was about to rebrand, so the timing was perfect!

Throughout this process, I designed a wordmark, music video titles, merch designs, and an LP vinyl record cover concept. Everything I created was displayed at Moravian’s annual senior thesis exhibit, which I thoughtfully assembled into an immersive exhibit. To explain all of my design decisions, I wrote a 15-page thesis paper detailing my research on branding in the industry and my thought process while designing for Rex Laurent.
